Always a vibe! Love the retro feel and music selection is a good mix of new and oldies/ classics. Helpful at the counters, attentive refs/ monitors on the floor, fun DJs, plenty of room and cool arcades. Fun floor games every now and again but would love to see more themed skates.
Reasonable prices and helpful party hosts for your party needs but also VERY packed on weekends because of that.
Great hosts and fun crowd for Assassination City and other Roller Derby bouts! Been here for parties, free skates and even invited to practices to check out the league! A staple in the North Texas area...
** They're a little weird about bringing in water bottles and kids staying hydrated in the excessive heat and exertion but overall it's a really fun time. Wish they were open longer hours in Summer.

I hadn't been skating in YEARS!! I dusted off the old speed skates and took them for a spin. The customer service and atmosphere was amazing!! I may need some ibuprofen after a fall and a wobble, but I will definitely be back!!
Get your family, friends or yourself and head over to Thunderbird Roller Rink in Plano.

Just had my daughter's 8th birthday here - they party host, Eric, was amazing! He's so good with the kids and a lot of fun. Everything about the party was great, from the cleanliness of the place, the decorations in the party room to the fun skating. We will definitely be back!

Thunderbird was amazing from start to finish! We booked a private party for our son’s 10th birthday, and I can’t say enough great things about the experience. Communication was excellent, the staff kept the party running smoothly, and they did a wonderful job helping everyone stay safe while having fun. It was awesome watching the kids just be kids and skate! Thank you for making our boy’s celebration so special. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Thunderbird to anyone planning a birthday party!

Been teaching one of the granddaughters how to skate. 2nd trip to Thunderbird and she's doing GREAT! (Practiced on our wood floors) She did so Awesome (her parents, not so much!)
Looking at their birthday packages...So Much More Reasonable than other kids 'Activity Birthday Parties' I've seen!
Scheduled her party. Would recommend scheduling At Least 2 or more months out for a Saturday or Sunday kid's birthday party! Slots fill up FAST!! I tried to schedule just 1 month out & her party will be 2 weeks After her birthday (so doing a 'School's Out/Birthday' party!
