We spoke with Amanda on the phone regarding coming in and doing some shooting, she was extremely helpful and professional on the phone. Once we arrived we were greeted by Peyton who was also really helpful and welcoming and greeted us to what we needed to do to get started as first time shooters. Once we entered the range we had Kevin as our trainer instructor and he was quite knowledgeable, patient, and very good at giving clear instructions. The whole team at this establishment are professionals and are extremely welcoming, as first time shooters from Australia, we will definitely be visiting the Texas gun experience again on our next journey to the United States! Huge thank you to Amanda, Peyton, and Kevin, you guys are awesome!

Get directions →Awesome experience! Got the first time experience package with my friend and Thien was a great instructor! Very patient and supportive. The package is a good deal to safely try three types of guns. 10/10 would recommend!

WOW. I Have to say that I've been to numerous gun store / ranges in my life. BUT Texas Gun Experience almost blew my mind. It had a lot of really exotic firearms, some of which I've never seen before. This visit was merely a reconnaissance tour. i.e. Meaning just looking to see what they had, prices availability, etc. Sadly though. While I was very impressed with thier inventory I'm afraid thier prices are those of which I could never hope to rise to. It was a Saturday so they were really busy. So I did not have a chance to talk to anyone much less answer any questions I might have had. My immediate impression of Texas Gun Experience is, it's a playground for the really rich gun owners. So I'm pretty certain I'm never going to be buying anything there anytime soon. However I will say that I was very impressed that they had not only a place to shoot fully automatic guns. They also had an impressive inventory to rent out. ( I dont even want to ask how much that costs. ) I wouldn't mind bringing my Brother here one of these days just so he could see it. Additionally they had a nice selection of flashlights and knifes, something else that you don't see in very many other such places, gun cases. accessories galore. If nothing else. If your like me. a limited income. It's still worth the effort to go and take a look. Plenty of parking. They even offer firearm training onsite as well. & they include a vending section too.

What a cool experience! You made 3 Aussie's very happy. We had some time to waist while waiting for a flight. Highly professional team. We had no clue about guns & to be honest quite intimidated. Had a short training/safety session & straight into it. We short glock 21 & what fun! Highly recommend!

I am not one to leave reviews but after my visit at Texas Gun Experience i needed to. I was with a large (and picky) group and from start to finish, we had an outstanding experience. A special shoutout to Thomas, who took such great care of us in assisting the group and made sure everyone was comfortable and had an amazing time. He constantly went above and beyond to give everyone a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone! Cheers to Thomas and everyone at TGE! Thanks again
