I'm very disappointed with my experience at Hydrous Wake Park and won't return. I flew in for a 4-day trip to Dallas to visit my best friend, and we put the Aqua Park at Hydrous Wake Park on our itinerary for a Saturday. Saw several pictures and videos online and on their website of adults doing it and it looked fun... it was not. We booked an appointment for 10:20am, and thought we were good to go. When arriving, we were greeted to a closed shop, and after knocking on the door- an attendant said they don't open until 12, and the first availability for the Aqua Park is 12:30. They even had appointments for 8:30am on their website- why would you advertise times to book when you are not open? Our appointment was rescheduled, and we came back later that afternoon- and by the time we were done, it felt like the majority of a precious day had been wasted (we only had 4 days together). There were kids running uncontrollably all over the course, which made it hard and uncomfortable to maneuver as adults- and it was just clear it was not the activity for us. We're completely fine with that if it truly is a kid's course- but don't advertise all over social media and on the website photos of adults doing it. It's false advertising. Mixed with the appointment catastrophe and no offer for a refund or an apology, I surely won't be back and warn those looking for an outdoor activity this summer in DFW to not choose the Aqua Park at Hydrous Wake Park.

Great place! Super fun wakeboarding, friendly staff, and everything felt safe and well organized. Highly recommend

My daughter's wish for this summer was to go surfing for the first time. We live in Dallas so there are no beaches less than a few hours drive away. Lo and behold, a little search on Google and we find this gem in Little Elm. We were able to get a lesson and start wake boarding within 10 minutes of arriving! We never even tried this before. The guides were super helpful and gave great advice to get us up and going. The waterpark has a cable system that pulls you around the water as if attached behind a boat. We were able to go around 15 times in the 2 hour session. Total fun with the family.

My go-to cable park in the DFW area. Staff is friendly, supportive and passionate for the sport. Everybody is welcome, from first-timer to pros. Also operating during winter, allowing athletes to follow their passion all year long.

The staff is very friendly, but I didn't enjoy the aqua park. It’s essential to wear water shoes because walking around the course is nearly impossible without them. The water quality is poor, and I wish they would treat it. Additionally, the inflatables heat up quickly in the sun. While it looks fun, overall, it wasn't worth the visit.
