I’ve so enjoyed being a member at GP studio! Both the group and private lessons I’ve taken have been taught by wonderful instructors who cater to students’ level of experience. The studio is clean, well organized, and run with care and efficiency. A wonderful place to learn, practice, and create pottery!

Even as a member of the studio now, people are so lovely and kind and willing to help. Very welcoming studio full of lovely people. Be brave and take the classes! It's well worth it.

I bought the couples experience for my husband and I. I did pottery a couple decades ago in school, but he never had. We had a glorious time learning to throw a cup and a bowl. Enjoyed our tour of the whole studio- their patience in answering all the questions and their general positivity. 2 of our 4 pieces blew up (it's a known risk in the pottery game, no one's fault LOL) and they helped us us with replacements quickly and kept us very happy. They communicated by phone and text, we got photos at each stage. My husband is SUPER excited about it and has been telling all his friends. We will 100% recommend this experience to others and I'll be trying to find excuses to bring him back in.

I had such a wonderful experience at Garret Pendergrass Pottery! Garret is incredibly personable, welcoming, and patient. He has a genuine gift for teaching, making pottery feel approachable and enjoyable no matter your experience level. He took the time to explain each step, encouraged creativity, and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere that made the event unforgettable. You can tell he’s passionate about both his craft and helping others learn. I highly recommend attending one of his pottery events you’ll leave with not only a piece you created, but also a memorable experience.

My husband and I took a Sip and Clay class (BYOD) and we had a blast! We are both totally hooked and can’t wait to take another class. Garrett is an amazing artist, but also an amazing instructor! He and his wife Lynn have something very special with this studio. If you are a total newbie to pottery, or you’ve done some pottery throwing in the past, they have everything you could need to get you started. We both ended up with two pieces each and we are already signed up for the glazing class! Highly recommend! (And my husband who is looking over my shoulder as I type says he’s totally addicted and wants to keep learning!
