We recently attended the whisky, wine, beer glass class and had an absolutely fantastic time! My wife and I were impressed with how hands-on our experience was and how informative and kind all the staff were. We both also thought it was a treat to be able to see all of the artworks in progress in their studio. Glass making is something I've been wanting to do for years and I'll definitely be signing up for another class.

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Carlyn Ray of Dallas Glass Art at the installation of her amazing glass mobile at the Garland Central Library. At the same event, we met the wonderful DGA studio manager - Tatara. We shared how we'd always wanted to participate in making our own glass art and Tatara told us about their studio and classes and assured us that we could absolutely make glass art! As a 64th Birthday gift, my husband booked Package 3 (2 hour session) for the both of us to participate. EVERYTHING about the experience was wonderful! From the greetings by Traci. Tatara, and Chai (the studio canine :-) to meeting our instructor Christian (and assisted by Dahiani) to walking out having completed five beautiful pieces of glass art! Christian was patient - he truly instructed us in the art - didn't just talk us thru a script. He worked with us by first demonstrating the making of a piece, explaining everything, answering questions, and safely guided us through the making of our own pieces. We talked about the history, the tools, and the absolute magic that happens when you combine the materials with heat. My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed every second of it! It was a fast two hours - you're moving quickly - and working as a team with your instructors. You are truly creating! When we picked up our glass pieces a few days later, we were thrilled!!! If I do say myself - they all turned out beautifully! We have some of the pieces in our entryway and the paperweights are now in our respective home offices where we're constantly reminded of an incredible experience and have the internal joy of "I made that!" (with help from Christian :-) If you've ever thought you wanted to learn the art of Glassblowing - don't wait to reach out to Dallas Glass Art. You will love it!

We had a great time! My husband and I attended a public class for the bubble bowls and paper weights, we each did a different one and can't wait to see how they turn out. If you don't want to stay the whole two hours I highly recommend getting there early and filling out your waiver ahead of time, it puts you farther up in the order because it's on a first come basis. I definitely recommend going in the cooler months, I can imagine it gets hot in summer, but we had a great experience!

This was fun and a unique experience. It's a must to try at least once. We did a private class, and Christian was great. He explained everything and really wanted us to have a good experience and create as many masterpieces as we could in our time frame. Our creations are pictured (though they are more beautiful in person). No complaints. I also had some questions and Traci was super helpful and quick in her responses.

My friend and I had the amazing opportunity to participate in a 2 person private class at DGA. Alex was our instructor and he did a great job demonstrating what to do and how, and allowed us to do a great deal of the glass blowing process. The 4 items we created between the 2 of us turned out very nice! We found it to be unique, fun, and an informative creative experience. I recommend it highly!
