Cute & cozy atmosphere with delicious & beautifully presented chocolates and cakes. and sometimes really nice live performances. I think the combination makes a charming & memorable experience, especially for couples & can be a nice spot for a date night

My husband and I finally got to come here for Valentine’s Day date night this past Valentine’s Day! We had the most amazing and romantic time! We came towards the end of the night! But we were still able to get ahold of very gourmet hand dipped chocolate covered strawberries that were packaged with love and care in a very cute heart box! We also both had a glass of very good wine to go along with it! It was amazing! We came in time to see the end of an amazing Jazz and R&b show! The live music was so much fun! And the singers were so talented! I was dancing and vibing in my seat! I loved the live music so much! It was the perfect Valentine’s date night! The atmosphere and ambience was very charming, romantic and fun at the same time! I can’t wait to come back again soon and have more time to spend here! I’m looking forward to getting to try a wide variety of chocolates next time! They also have a very impressive food menu with French cuisine! So I can’t wait to come back for lunch or dinner here sometime soon too!

I’ve come a few times to see Shelley Carroll, local saxophonist, play and it’s always a nice, intimate, quaint experience. My wine, chocolates, and charcuterie board were tasty. The menu has other inviting treats and entrees too. Chocolate secrets is an appealing place for a cozy date, girls night or even a solo night out.

Still a secret? Now you know! Chocolate Secrets is a fun brasserie on the edge of Highland Park serving lots of chocolate and live music in a charming atmosphere. The chocolate is house-made, including the Dubai Chocolate Bar - delish! Season truffles are available. Have a sports fanatic or fashionista in the family? The chocolate footballs, basketballs, tennis balls, purses and stilettos will be perfect gifts. The live music was Jazz on our night, and the live music room was packed. NOTE: if attending for the live music, $20 minimum spend is requested - appetizers, sandwiches, salads, desserts (of course!) lattes and sodas are available. Attire is super casual to dressy. No reservations for seating at the live performances, so get there at least 30 minutes before the show. Parking is minimal. No valet on the night I went. A parking lot is available one block away, which is where I parked.

Wonderful atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Amazing chocolate treats and the wine is perfect. Also big shout out to Morgan Hawkins singing live!
