Central Market is a premier destination and one of my favorite places to visit. It is truly an experience that every visitor to Texas must have. The atmosphere is vibrant and the quality of products is second to none. You will find yourself looking forward to your next visit before you even finish your current trip. The convenience of having a fresh pizza prepared for you while you shop is unmatched. Their salad selection is consistently fresh and the wine department offers more options than one can imagine. The abundance of samples allows you to explore the best of the best with confidence. For the full experience, visit the cafe and order the burger and fries. It is a top tier meal that lives up to the standard of excellence found throughout the store. You will certainly leave wanting more. Please leave a heart and a thumbs up if you find this helpful.

Get directions →Lots of fresh produce, great breads baked in-store, plenty of meats, including a very wide range of cured meats like salame and pepperoni and ham. Ready to eat meals and sides. Specialty jams, spices, and so on. Love their floral section where you can spend less and get more. Almost every time I visit, the check-out is easy and there is little to no wait. Big parking lot, though you may still have to park a but away from the front door during super busy times. Very happy to be able to shop here for my cravings.

Awful customer service experience. This was my second time at this location, and mostly everyone was friendly and helpful except for when I got to a register to check out. I did not report this experience to customer service at the time for personal reasons, but I do feel it needs to be shared. This store itself has an amazing variety of options for every food category that I enjoy, and this location is closest to my house, however I will not be returning. I went to a register to check out yesterday afternoon after finding all of my groceries and I was greeted by the cashier. I was asked if I wanted plastic or paper bags, I said paper. I don’t know if this is what upset her, but she proceeded to scan my groceries and let them down the conveyor with absolutely zero help bagging as I was scrambling to keep my items from breaking. This normally would not be an issue for me and I don’t like to leave negative reviews, as I have no problem bagging my own groceries and am quite capable, I have also been a cashier myself so know how overwhelming things can get. However I had quite a few items along with glass/bread/bagels (which were flattened by the heavier items on the conveyer belt.) If I did not grab the glass it would’ve shattered as well. The most upsetting part and the reason I will not be returning, is that a manager (or maybe key holder?) was standing right next to the register watching what was going on, and proceeded to help bag the families groceries next to mine. I felt extremely disrespected by this interaction, other than that, this is a great place to shop. I’d leave more stars, but feel this needs to be seen.

Very unique grocery shopping experience! So many selections. Clean establishment. The prices were pretty reasonable. I will visit again!

Central Market is hit and miss. Just like HEB, some of their bakery and deli items are excellent (the rotisserie chicken salad and raisin oatmeal cookies are fantastic) while others are horrible (their fresh squeezed OJ isn’t sweet, the King Ranch Casserole is icky and their prepared foods overall have a lot of nasty ingredients. Can you say over processed food?). That said, other than Whole Foods their olive bar is second to none. Some employees are friendly but most of the cashiers are curt to say the least. Not really an upscale experience. I wish Gelsons or Bristol Farms from SoCal would come here. Or AJs from Scottsdale. We need a TRUE upscale grocery store in DFW.
