I have lived close to Bowlski's for almost 3 days and just gave it a try last night and have to leave a raving review. This place is a retro time capsule, it is an old theater converted into a bowling alley - I will be coming back for the atmosphere alone. They had 80s music videos playing and the staff was super attentive. I think a lot of negative reviews are coming from a place of having extremely high expectations, this place is divey and rough around the edges so if you are expecting a perfect experience this is probably not for you. I can't wait to come back!

Get directions →Interesting alley, but a complete mess. Came to play some casual games and brought my own shoes and ball. My girlfriend used the rental shoes and got a nasty pair of worn down shoes. Told myself I probably shouldn’t be throwing my personal ball into the shotty ball return, but I did it anyway. It took one game for my ball to get stuck and eventually return with tons of chips/scratches (see photos). Overall extremely disappointing. Do not come here with your own personal gear - maybe this would be fun if you just came to drink and chuck house balls.

This place was tragic. The atmosphere was great, nice details, but everything else was just abysmal. As soon as we entered, we were overwhelmed with a vile rotten sewage smell that proceeded through the entire building. The smell was so rancid that everyone in my group noticed immediately and quietly pointed it out to each other. Then they only had one employee running the front desk, who was clearly stressed out and dealing with a dysfunctional system that barely worked, and trying to micromanage everything at once. He told me he had only gotten there a couple hours prior, but he looked like he’d been stuck there the entire day. He was very apologetic and trying desperately to work through the diabolical conditions and smell, and I can applaud his efforts tremendously. The icing on the cake was the price and ending. 103 dollars for 6 players for one full game, instead they set up a 1 hour timer, which immediately cut all power to the game as soon as the hour was up, rather than just preventing us from starting a new game after our round was done. It cut off our game before finishing when we paid for a full game. I can’t even express how immensely disappointed I am that this place is in business at all, and the most rewarding part of it was the existence of a gumball machine that actually did work. I went out of my way to write a review despite never writing reviews for anything because the world needs to know just how much this place should be avoided.

The hours on Google do not match the website. Any local business today needs to ensure they match. My daughter and I showed up for lunch and bowling on a Friday expecting it to be open and were disappointed to learn they were closed, contra Google hours. When I have actually been admitted the experience is pretty good. It's much cheaper than other bowling and food combo options in town.

I had a blast here last night. I went with two friends and we had a ball, the staff were super nice, and very accommodating, the music was bumping to the 80s and I was in heaven. I will say that the balls were hella dirty coming out of the return, but there are super clean bathrooms to wash your hands in. lol I will definitely be going back, the vibe was so great, and the atmosphere was electric. Highly recommend this place if you want to have fun, chill night with friends.
